Vodacom KZN, a branch of Vodafone, has recently announced its latest infrastructure investment in South Africa. The company is investing 1 billion rand to upgrade infrastructure in KwaZulu-Natal. This will increase the number of 3G and 4G base stations. The main goal is to provide faster internet service for more people.

The time and cost of a 5G network

Vodacom has announced its latest infrastructure investment on the Vodafone 5G network. The company is investing in major upgrades to both its 2.5 and 4G networks as well as the fibre optic network that connects it all together. The first areas to benefit from these upgrades will be Durban and Pietermaritzburg, followed by Cape Town next year.
