Some of the biggest brands got together at the annual CES trade show to display their weird and wonderful inventions. At this show some unreal, innovative and incredibly useful devices were shown off. We will take a peek at some of these amazing inventions. The good news is that most of them will be released later this year. The bad news is that you will pay dearly for these amazing inventions.

Ampere Shower Power:

Don’t we all just love singing our favorite songs in the shower? This new bluetooth shower speaker is made from recycled materials that attach directly and seemingly to almost any showerhead and uses water flow to power itself. Our voices might be shocking but this speaker is not.

The Cove:

Through light vibrations behind the ears, Cove allegedly activates the part of the brain that regulates anxiety. This interesting invention might help to reduce stress in the workforce. It is claimed that the gadget works by wearing the headband-type-thingy for only 20 minutes a day. It also promotes better sleep patterns. Soon we will have workers with no anxiety sleeping at work. Makes sense.

TCL Wearable Display:

You will either love it or hate it. How does it work? Imagine taking the quality of a 1080p OLED TV and applying it to the relatively tiny area of spectacles to circumvent the need for a giant screen. The goal here is to feel as if you are looking at a high-quality 140-inch TV screen that is four meters away from your face. 140 inch? That is 3.5 metres. Imagine.

Satechi Dock5 Multi-Device Charging Station:

If you use multiple devices and you are looking for a charging station to charge them all at once, this device is perfect for you. The Satechi’s charging station has one Qi wireless charging pad, two USB-C charging ports, and two USB-A charging ports. The station consists of a base with multiple compartments to neatly organize the devices to be charged. No cable mess here. It is also equipped with over-temperature protection.

JBL Tour Pro+ Earbuds:

These earbuds promise advanced Adaptive Noise Cancelling and an 8 hour charge (with 24 hours from the case). Features like “tap to talk to Google or Alexa” makes it stand out from the pack. It should compare favourably to the market leaders like Apple’s AirPods Pro.

Some of these gadgets might become dominant players and some not. But playing with them will always be fun.
