MTN has released a new campaign called “Fighting the Pandemic”. It offers 1GB of data to customers of MTN that they can use to help fight off the pandemic. This is their way of saying “thank you for using our service” and it will only be available until the end of October. I am not sure how I feel about this. I would prefer MTN to give me free data, but 1GB of value is not that bad. I think this is kind of like the SuperDupont gift cards, which were good for a few hundred dollars worth of gift cards.
